Licensing

WordPress has created an incredible eco-system of software, professionals, services, and users – one that literally allows me to put food on the table every month. They’ve done so by maintaining a strong commitment to open source software licenses for both WordPress itself, as well as plugins and themes that WordPress uses.

For CodeGarage and its subscription service Locker, I’m happy to follow suit. Every line of code that is made available through CodeGarage (both free plugins and code distributed as part of Locker) is licensed under the GPL v2 (or later) license.

Wherever reasonable, I’ll also do my best to release code from the backend of locker as open source code – like the Timthumb Vulnerability Scanner that runs automatically for all Locker Subscribers.

Thanks, WordPress!
